SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: Experience that demonstrates thorough knowledge and familiarity with Federal administrative policies, procedures and software programs to properly prepare and review outgoing correspondence, make travel arrangements, prepare travel requests and vouchers, complete time and leave cards, arrange meetings, maintain calendars, manage ticket tracking, and perform other general administrative duties. Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office365 Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is required. Knowledge of NRC systems (HCM Cloud, ADAMS, and eTravel, etc.) is preferred.

Qualifications:
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service (GG-07) or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: Experience that demonstrates thorough knowledge and familiarity with Federal administrative policies, procedures and software programs to properly prepare and review outgoing correspondence, make travel arrangements, prepare travel requests and vouchers, complete time and leave cards, arrange meetings, maintain calendars, manage ticket tracking, and perform other general administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated skill with computer-based applications, including Office365, ADAMS, E-Concurrence, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and other database applications (i.e. maintaining automated tracking systems.
- Demonstrated ability to provide administrative support in a variety of areas (time and attendance reporting, travel, etc.).
- Writes in a clear, concise, and organized manner. Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation, and correspondence procedures sufficient to prepare and review outgoing material for correctness, proper format, and completeness.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in handling multiple assignments with competing priorities, often under considerable pressure to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to deal tactfully, efficiently and professionally with all levels of personnel, and to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide a broad range of administrative support to a Division, or equivalent organization. These duties include, but are not limited to:- Serving as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and responding to routine inquiries.
- Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating logistics, and preparing relevant materials.
- Review correspondence, reports, memoranda, and documents to ensure internal consistency and conformance with established procedures in NRC Management Directive 3.57 "Correspondence Management" and NRC Editorial Style Guide and obtain any necessary concurrences.
- Type letters, memoranda, reports, presentation slides, and other necessary material utilizing Microsoft Office 365 applications or other automated systems.
- Serves as the lead for lower-graded Administrative Assistants on a variety of administrative support issues within the Division.
