What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Home Health; Part-time position at Division of Rehabilitation Services (Stout Household)?
Seeking a compassionate, dependable, reliable RN for long-term, in-home patient care (neither hospice nor visits). This highly flexible position is funded by the state of Illinois' Division of Rehabilitation Services Home Services Program (DRS HSP), and is ideal for nurses who prefer a more personal home-care environment with a 1:1 nurse-patient ratio, instead of a facility.
Primary openings are for evenings or nights, with some availability for days. Recent RN students and graduates are encouraged to apply.
Pay rate:
- RNs: $36.75/hr.

- Medical insurance provided after probationary period of full-time work.
- Vision and Dental also available
Location: Marion, Illinois
Shifts: A combination of the following is acceptable, but the main openings are:
- Part-time Evenings, 5p-10p; ~2 shifts/wk.
- Part-time Nights, 7p-7a or 10p-7a, depending on the day of the week. ~1 shift/wk.
- Part-time/Full-time Days, 7a-7p or 7a-5p, depending on the day of the week; ~1 shift/wk. (currently less needed than other shifts, but may open up in the future)
Case-specific requirements:
- Heavy emphasis on respiratory care (sterile suctioning, ventilator troubleshooting, breathing treatments, etc.)
- ADLs
- Adequate training will be provided for all tasks required.
*Must be able to lift 100 pounds*
Immunizations against flu and COVID are not required but are HIGHLY encouraged to protect immunocompromised patient.
