Our goal is outstanding craftsmanship while executing timely project delivery. We are looking for an Engineer to join our team and help us deliver excellence to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Use AutoCAD for shop drawing workflow: submittals, revisions, CAM geometry preparation, and as-built drawing sets.
- Use Autodesk Inventor for 3D parametric modeling, detailed assembly and installation drawings, CAM processing for CNC
- Develop CNC programs using AlphaCAM
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Prepare bills of material (BOM), cut lists, and production documentation utilizing TradeSoft - ShopPAK and Microsoft Office products
- Revise drawings to reflect client design changes and coordination updates
- Collaborate with Project Managers for scheduling and client coordination
- Collaborate with the shop team to clarify design intent and support production
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Participate in project kick-off meetings to ensure proper transfer of information between departments
- Apply construction knowledge and hands-on trade experience to improve constructability
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Post-secondary education in drafting/engineering or equivalent experience (preferred)
- 3 years professional experience using AutoCAD (required)
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor [or SolidWorks experience] (required)
- Experience with CNC programming and nested-based CAM workflows (required)
- Exposure to Cabinet Vision (preferred)
- Exposure to TradeSoft - ShopPak (preferred)
- Commercial millwork or architectural woodworking experience (preferred)
- Shop or construction experience (preferred)
