Looking for a motivated, engaged , compassionate, licensed Occupational Therapist for PRN work within the Ramona California area.
This independent contract position works directly with individuals in their congregate living homes. As the lead Occupational therapist, the therapist will provide evaluations and care oversight for a Occupational therapy assistant with a focus on providing patient care focused on functional status, activities of daily living, independent living skills, fine motor coordination, home safety recommendations, adaptive equipment training, strengthening and maintaining general strength and mobility. The Occupational therapist will develop the treatment plan and collaborate with the Occupational therapy assistant to ensure that the treatment plan is followed, performing interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient's wellbeing, and monitoring the patient’s progress. The successful candidate will also collaborate with supported living center staff ( nurse, direct support professionals, house administrator) to enhance the physical, mental, and social well-being for patients.
