We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team to cover West Baton Rouge and East Feliciana Parishes. Duties:
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and coordination
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to be performed at home
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress
Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Experience in home health therapy and acute care settings is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
