Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School-Aged Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting the academic and social development of children. This candidate will require a driver's license, as he or she will be responsible for handing drop-off and pick-up care for the children, as well as experience driving a school van.
Duties
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets educational standards and promotes student engagement.
- Create lesson plans that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support to students, including those with special needs or requiring early intervention.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods.
- Foster literacy education through reading programs and activities.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and other educators to support child welfare and development.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development.
- Maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Handle drop-off and pick-up services for school-aged children to and from various schools.

Requirements
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid PA Driver's License; Experience driving school van.
- 2 years of experience driving
- State/FBI Criminal Background Check
- Child Abuse Background Check
- National Sex Offender Registry Background Check (NSOR)
- Child and Adult CPR/First Aid Certification
- Child Care Health Assessment and Tuberculosis Test
- Mandated Reporter Training
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, including preschool or daycare environments.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies and child welfare practices.
- Experience with tutoring or teaching physical education is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
