Schedule: Monday through Friday with on-call duties. Performs on-call duties on selected weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities:
- Assists Director of Nursing in ensuring compliance with regulations for documentation from physicians and nursing personnel and ensuring that all policies/procedures are implemented.
- Make rounds daily to direct the work of licensed staff to ensure quality care is provided to residents.
- Completes chart audits and reports results and progress, and makes recommendations for improvement to the Director of Nursing.
- Coordinates the facility's Infection Control Program.
- Maintains effective communication with families, residents, and facility staff.
- Provides backup coverage for the Director of Nursing.
- Oversight of the assisted-living.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
- Performs on-call duties on selected weekdays and weekends.
Qualifications:
- Current R.N. license by State Board of Nursing required.
- CPR BLS
- 1 Year minimum experience in long-term care and with Point Click Care.
- Certification as Infection Preventionist preferred, or willingness to become certified.
- Wound Care certification or willingness to become certified
- Other advanced practice nursing certifications are a plus.
