We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, flexible, and willing to take on routine and non-routine tasks as the need arises.
Hotel Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of a hotel by making sure that all facilities, utilities and equipment are in good working condition. Good problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of mechanical systems, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment
- Identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues
- Basic plumbing and electrical, painting, plastering, and maintaining HVAC systems
- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints related to hotel facilities and equipment
- Customer service skills to interact courteously and professionally with hotel guests when conducting maintenance work in guest areas
- Work closely with other hotel departments to coordinate maintenance and repair work
- Ensure compliance with hotel safety and security protocols
- Ensure that all work areas are clean and organized
- Keep detailed logs of all maintenance and repair work
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and facilities
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Perform general cleaning tasks as required
- Maintaining outdoor areas, walkways, and parking lots
- Lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Must have your own tools
- Climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
