Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in various environments, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Perform procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, suturing, and phlebotomy as required.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or acute care settings preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner is advantageous.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support techniques.
- Experience with specialized nursing practices such as dialysis, pain management, or hospice & palliative medicine is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and manage acute pain effectively.
- Previous experience in long-term care or assisted living facilities is desirable.
