Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide wound care, including suturing and dressing changes.
- Support patients with tube feeding and airway management as needed.
- Engage in behavioral health support for patients requiring mental health assistance.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and post-discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practices.
- Experience in acute care or critical care settings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hospice care principles is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to perform basic nursing procedures, including suture placement when necessary.
