The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with a passion for coding.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with software developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand the companys needs and create software solutions for those needsWrite code in the appropriate languageCOBOL development with MICROFOCUS Visual COBOL using Visual Studio 2019/2022 in Windows Server 2022 under IIS. (MICROFOCUS Visual COBOL V7, V9, or higher strongly preferred)Review and update operating systems and software regularlyIntegrate individual software solutions to higher-level systemsApplication programming against RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server).Test software and debug routinelyQualificationsA bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferredAbility to program in multiple languages such as C , Java, and PythonExperience in developing web applicationsUnderstanding of relational databasesAbility to find and fix errors in software and programsStrong analytical skillsAbility to work well as part of a teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of data privacy and security
