Responsibilities:
- Install insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas
- Apply insulation to walls, ceilings, floors, and other surfaces using various techniques
- Seal gaps and cracks with caulk or other sealants to prevent air leakage
- Use power tools and hand tools to install insulation materials
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear while working
Skills:
- Knowledge of different types of insulation materials and their applications
- Experience with roof, carpentry, plaster, trim carpentry, and concrete
- Familiarity with construction
- Ability to work with power tools and hand tools effectively
- Understanding of HVAC systems and their impact on insulation installation
