SALON-SPA GUEST SERVICES SUPERVISOR
GUEST SERVICES SUPERVISOR WITH A STARTING WAGE OF $47,840 up to $55,120 per year commensurate with experience: this position requires a minimum of two years retail management experience combined with EXCELLENT computer and MULTI-TASKING skills. Experience servicing a high-end clientele as well as a Cosmetology License or background are added assets to this opportunity.
Divine Designs Salon & Spa is fortunate to serve over eight hundred guests per week and we need a Salon & Spa Guest Services Supervisor to join our team! In addition to scheduling and supervising our guest service staff members, promoting retail products to clients and ensuring a clean, neat and organized retail display area your duties would include, but not be limited to: providing courteous and efficient client service from point of arrival through checkout - booking, changing or canceling salon appointments accurately -maintain established policies, procedures, standards and objectives-maintain a professional work relationship and team attitude with clients and staff -accurately schedule and confirm reservations, changes or cancellations - inform clients of salon & spa policies -accurately process all billing and posting for goods and services - accurately explain menu and packages to clients -possess knowledge at all times of salon & spa operations - clearly communicate information to clients - greet and welcome all clients and staff - maintain and close registers - respond to all client concerns in a prompt, professional, calm and courteous manner - assist in all areas of salon & spa operations - maintain a cooperative team attitude with associates -be aware of appearance, promptness, quality of work and attitudes with clients and associates - actively contribute to finding solutions for challenges - promote professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, workshops and meetings - attend meetings as required - participate in all training sessions - perform all related duties as assigned or requested by supervisors or managers.
Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Hospitality Management or post-high school training certification(s) in retail customer service and leadership courses – a minimum of two years retail management experience - EXCELLENT COMPUTER LITERACY with experience in Microsoft Software - Minimum 35 WPM typing ability - This is a salaried supervisory position which will require you to work flexible hours, including weekends & holidays, to accommodate our retail guests.
