Role Description The Caregiver role is an on-site position located in Odessa, TX. Caregivers support clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting while promoting comfort and safety. Typical responsibilities include meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, and assisting with medication reminders as directed. Caregivers also provide companionship, engage clients in conversation and simple activities, and observe and report changes in clients’ condition to supervisors. The role involves working in clients’ homes, following care plans, and maintaining a professional, respectful, and person-centered approach at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide respectful personal care, including assistance with hygiene, mobility, and activities of daily living.
- Experience with household support tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and organizing a safe home environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to offer companionship, build trust, and collaborate with clients, families, and staff.
- Reliability, time management, and attention to detail when following care plans and documenting client observations.
- Prior caregiver, home health aide, or CNA experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift, stand, and move safely while assisting clients; willingness to follow safety and infection control guidelines.
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to reach client homes in Odessa, TX and surrounding areas, as needed.
- Background check clearance and authorization to work in the U.S.
