Job Summary

At Diverzify and our Family of Brands, the Warehouse Assistant is responsible for receiving, storing, inventorying, and issuing materials and supplies in a high-volume central warehouse. They compile orders, restock inventory, move merchandise, and assist with loading and unloading deliveries. They may also support delivery runs when needed. The role follows established procedures under the direction of the Warehouse Manager and involves regular coordination with the sales team, branch operations managers, and occasionally customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle shipping, receiving, order picking, and inventory management.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials; maintain accurate inventory records.
• Pull, label, and stage correct items to fulfill customer orders.
• Load/unload trucks and deliveries; restack or hand-load materials as needed.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Perform cycle counts and ensure all inbound/outbound inventory is tracked.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
• Support warehouse team with daily tasks and contribute to overall productivity.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (Or Equivalent Work Experience in Similar Role).
• Minimum 1 Year of Experience in Warehousing/Receiving Function.
• Must be able to regularly lift, carry, or move products weighing 50 pounds unassisted. Typically bends, stoops, and/or crouches on a regular basis from various heights to stock or remove products. Must be able to climb steps.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday between 7 am and 4 pm and have ability to work flexible hours with notice.
• This role is DOT (U.S. Department of Transportation) regulated and may involve operating company vehicles to complete deliveries. Upon hire, you will be required to complete Diverzify’s DOT Program BEFORE you are authorized to begin work.

• Basic PC Skills Preferred.
