Body Weld Production Supervisor (Dayshift)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Body Weld Production Supervisor to lead our dayshift manufacturing team in a fast-paced, high-quality production environment. As a Body Weld supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly line operations, ensuring quality production, and maintaining a safe working environment within our manufacturing facility. Your expertise in mechanical assembly, factory processes, and safety protocols will be instrumental in delivering top-tier products while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate all activities during the dayshift, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of assembly personnel, promoting teamwork and high performance.
• Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Enforce safety standards in production areas through ongoing training, safety audits, and adherence to safety protocols in heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.
• Collaborate with management on staffing needs, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives to elevate manufacturing performance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a factory/manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies to streamline operations.
• Knowledge of safety standards applicable to manufacturing environments including heavy lifting procedures and manual handling protocols.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate production records.
• Physical capability for manual tasks involving heavy lifting; comfortable working on your feet during long shifts.
• Excellent communication skills for effective team leadership and coordination with other departments.

Education

• High school Diploma or GED

Pay: $48,000.00 - $51,500.00 per year
