Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Shop Assistant to support our oilfield operations by maintaining the shop, preparing equipment, managing inventory, and assisting with field logistics. This position is essential to ensuring our field crews have the equipment and supplies needed to safely and efficiently support drilling operations throughout Texas and Louisiana.

Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, clean, and organize field equipment.
- Prepare equipment and supplies for deployment to drilling locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and organization.
- Track inventory levels and notify management of low stock.
- Perform basic maintenance and preventative care on company equipment.
- Deliver or pick up parts and supplies as needed.
- Assist technicians with equipment assembly and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment movement and inventory.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Forklift experience is a plus (training available if needed).
- Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
- Basic computer skills are beneficial.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
