The Mental Health Professional provides diagnostic impressions, therapeutic services, and clinical support to treatment teams. This role plays a key part in developing effective treatment strategies and ensuring high-quality care through collaboration, clinical expertise, and evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic recommendations and clinical impressions to treatment teams
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Treatment Plans
- Deliver individual, family, and group counseling services
- Facilitate staff training on therapeutic approaches and best practices
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure quality programming and outcomes
- Maintain consistent communication with program leadership and clinical teams
- Document services and maintain accurate client records in EMR
- Support clinical program development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Required:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related clinical field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in child or adolescent behavioral health services
- Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches for youth
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical assessment skills
- Experience in structured or residential treatment settings
- Experience providing clinical training or supervision
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to obtain required PA clearances (Act 33, Criminal History, FBI Act 73)
- Ability to pass Safe Crisis Management training
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to relocate to or commute to Williamsport, PA
