This position plays a key role in maintaining financial stability, audit readiness, and rate accuracy across behavioral health programs, including IBHS and ABA services.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Match invoices to contracts, approvals, and rate schedules
- Maintain organized AP records for audit purposes
- Resolve vendor discrepancies and respond to inquiries
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs
- Assist with month-end close activities (accruals, reconciliations)
- Support general ledger review and variance analysis
- Maintain financial documentation and schedules
- Assist with bank and account reconciliations
- Support preparation of financial reports
- Maintain and update payer and program rate tables
- Support rate-setting through modeling and financial analysis
- Implement updated rates following contract changes
- Monitor systems for rate discrepancies and resolve issues
- Provide reporting support for payer negotiations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and funding requirements
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Maintain audit-ready financial documentation
- Collaborate with Contracts, Operations, and Leadership teams
- Support budget tracking and expense monitoring
- Assist with special finance projects
- Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, or finance support roles
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, reconciliations, tracking)
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and PHI information
- Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or Medicaid-funded environments
- Familiarity with contracts, reimbursement models, or payer rate structures
- Experience supporting audits or financial reviews
- Hybrid work environment based on departmental needs
