Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Organizational Leadership
- Develop and implement organizational strategies aligned with DTAC’s mission, vision, and long-term goals.
- Lead organizational initiatives, growth planning, and program development.
- Communicate strategic priorities and expectations across the organization.
- Oversee daily operations for all DTAC programs, including behavioral health, treatment services, and specialized programs.
- Ensure program quality, adherence to evidence-based practices, and positive client outcomes.
- Maintain policies, procedures, and operating standards that support efficiency and compliance.
- Develop and manage the annual operating budget; ensure financial stability and responsible stewardship.
- Oversee billing, insurance processes, contracting, grant management, and financial reporting.
- Identify and pursue additional revenue opportunities, grants, and funding partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including behavioral health and clinical treatment requirements.
- Maintain required licensing, certifications, and accreditation standards.
- Manage organizational risk, safety practices, and incident reporting processes.
- Directly supervise senior leadership and key program managers.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, corrective action, and staff development.
- Foster a culture of respect, accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary spokesperson and public representative for DTAC.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with partners including healthcare providers, government agencies, law enforcement, referral sources, and community organizations.
- Participate in community meetings, stakeholder events, and partnership initiatives.
Education
- Master’s degree in public administration, Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health, treatment services, healthcare administration, human services, or nonprofit management.
- Experience managing budgets, supervising staff, and leading multiple program areas.
- Experience working in a regulated clinical or behavioral health setting preferred.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities.
- Knowledge of behavioral health regulations, treatment standards, and clinical compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to build effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong financial management, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
