The BCBA is responsible for the assessment, development, and implementation of individualized treatment plans using evidence-based ABA methodologies. This role includes direct client services, staff training and supervision, and collaboration with families, schools, and care teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement and oversee ABA programming aligned with client goals
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor client progress and outcomes
- Provide direct services and clinical oversight to clients and support staff
- Train, supervise, and coach staff and team members on ABA methodologies
- Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, reports, and treatment updates
- Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and insurance requirements
- Participate in treatment team meetings, including IEP meetings as needed
- Develop strategies to ensure continuity of care across settings
- Support crisis interventions and provide guidance during critical incidents
- Deliver trainings, workshops, and clinical consultation as needed
Required:
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Counseling, or related field
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience providing ABA services to children and adolescents
- Strong data collection, analysis, and documentation skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Licensed as a behavior specialist
- Graduate-level certification in behavior analysis
- Relevant graduate degree with experience in mental health direct services
- Completion of clinical practicum with relevant population
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to obtain required background clearances (Act 33, Criminal History, FBI Act 73)
- Ability to pass Safe Crisis Management training
