Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Designer based in Sarasota, FL. The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for developing and creating technical drawings and designs, collaborating with engineers and project teams, and contributing to research and development efforts. The role also includes working with computer-aided design (CAD) tools and assisting in the design and implementation of mechanical systems for diverse projects using task-oriented checklists, excel, outlook, word, AutoCAD and Revit.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
- Experience in Building Design and Mechanical Engineering principles
- Knowledge of Research and Development (R&D) practices
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Previous experience in mechanical design or a related role
