Diversified Systems is searching for an Infrastructure Design Coordinator who will have the responsibilities listed below.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify floor plans for building audio/visual systems, video conferencing solutions, IoT devices, network drops, and related infrastructure.
- Bring experience working with floor plans and knowledge of infrastructure design and general building construction.
- Identify problems and offer solutions within Space Optimization and Utilization Project (SOUP) designs.
- Attend meetings related to space design and planning.
- Serve as a liaison to Workplace Solutions management.
- Use Bluebeam Revu and other design software for planning and design efforts.
- Work with the Department of General Services Bureau of Real Estate and/or Capital Programs involved in SOUP projects, as well as vendors, lessors, and contractors.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Telecom, Network Operations, and Video Conference teams.
- 2 years of experience with a strong understanding of building infrastructure, construction processes, and architectural drawings.
- 2 years of problem-solving experience identifying issues and proposing solutions within space planning (SOUP) designs.
- 2 years of proficiency using Bluebeam Revu and related design software.
- 2 years of experience designing and modifying floor plans for audio/visual, telecom, IoT, and network infrastructure.
- Demonstrate the ability to design and modify floor plans for audio/visual, telecom, IoT, and network infrastructure.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of building infrastructure, construction processes, and architectural drawings.
- Ability to apply problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose solutions within space planning and SOUP designs.
- Participate effectively in design and planning meetings.
- Ability to leverage strong communication and coordination skills to serve as a liaison with Workplace Solutions.
- Show proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and related design software.
- Demonstrate experience collaborating with real estate teams, contractors, vendors, and government agencies.
- Ability to work closely with Enterprise Telecom, Network Operations, and Video Conferencing teams.
