Second Shift Warehouse Specialist Processor
Our company is located in BLAINE WA and specializes in high-quality pick-and-pack services for Canadian and US customers.
We are expanding our EVENING TEAM that works part time in the evenings (Sunday-Friday), typically starting around 5 PM and working for 1.5-2.5 hours each shift (start time and shift durations may vary).
Quality and Quantity BONUS:
Although the base rate is $18 an hour, we pay an efficiency bonus based on your individual scanning stats for each pay period. Quality thresholds MUST be met in order to realize the efficiency bonus, but employees can and do make up to an extra $10 per hour (or sometimes even more) for time spent processing.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Unloading all product into the warehouse via pallet jack of forklift. Product is palletized and we expect around 4-20 pallets of product delivered each evening.
- Processing packages throughout the evening. This includes efficiently scanning individual packages, properly applying a shipping label, and sorting the packages by carrier for outboard shipment.
- Maintaining the highest levels of efficiency, quality, and safety throughout the work shift.
Other shipping and/or warehousing tasks my be assigned as needed.
Job Requirements:
- MUST live local to Blaine. As start times can vary each evening, it is important you live close to the warehouse.
- This is a physical, fast-paced environment. Applicants must be able to be on their feet throughout their shift and routinely and safely lift, manage, and carry boxes up to 50 pounds on their own, and move heavier boxes on occasion safely.
- Flexibility in work-hours – shift start when a truck from Vancouver arrives, which will typically be around 5PM. HOWEVER, there are times when shifts will occur later due to border crossing or other issues.
- Must work well on their own, and in a team environment. You will be responsible for your own processing metrics, but it is also important to be a team player and help with all the responsibilities to ensure we have happy customers.
- Must be able to self-maintain and efficient work pace and have great attention to detail throughout the entire shift. Processing errors mean the wrong package goes to the wrong person, which is very costly in a lot of ways. We must get every package processed correctly.

Again, shift start-time may vary daily as work starts once a truck from Vancouver BC clears the border each afternoon. Generally, the start time will be between 4:45-6:00 PM and each shift generally runs from 1.5-2.5 hours each evening.
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
