Position Overview
We are seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join our team. As a key member of a collaborative and client-focused office, you will support the Principal Advisor while helping to build and nurture long-term relationships with our clients. You will anticipate client needs, resolve issues, and ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
This position requires someone who thrives in a team environment, is a self-starter, and can effectively organize and prioritize their day with minimal supervision. The role offers opportunities for professional growth and potential advancement toward managing your own client relationships.
Consenting to a background and credit check is a requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Principal Advisor with meeting preparation, client research, and presentation materials.
- Participate in client and prospect meetings; take and summarize notes, update the CRM (Redtail), and track follow-up items.
- Assist with creating and updating financial plans, data entry, and developing recommendations.
- Prepare periodic client reports on net worth, cash flow, investments, and estate planning.
- Coordinate with the investment management team to process trades and ensure timely execution.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies.
- Contribute to client engagement initiatives and maintain consistent, proactive communication.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and client service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
- Series 7, 63, 65, or 66 licenses preferred—or willingness to obtain.
- CFP® designation or progress toward certification is a plus.
- Prior experience in investments, financial planning, RIA, or Broker/Dealer environment preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial planning software (e.g., Redtail, eMoney).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks independently.
- Motivated self-starter who works well both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
