**Job Summary:**
This role involves directing, coordinating, and exercising functional authority for planning, organization, control integration, and completion of engineering projects within assigned areas of responsibility.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assists Program Managers in completing tasks such as developing program schedules, assigning project personnel, conducting feasibility meetings, and preparing necessary documentation.
- Coordinates die development, quality planning, design change activities, capital investments, tooling investments, and purchased components lists.
- Controls expenditures within project budget limitations and conducts regular gate reviews to address any delays or issues.
- Presents program status to executives for capital approvals, MP readiness, OPS, and launch-related matters.
- Schedules product design reviews, equipment design reviews, and 5M status updates to ensure mass production is on track.
- Tracks extrusion die completion rates, monitors cost follow-up, and resolves any tracking problems or issues.
- Liaises with PMs and AQEs to achieve PSW/Part Approval by customer due dates, verifies launch quality meets customer specifications, and supports PMs in meeting capital budgets.
- Develops control and monitoring strategies for special characteristics, documents them in standard work/operator instructions, and risk analysis (FMEA).
