What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Steel Fabricator position at Diversified Metal Fabrication?
We are looking for an experienced metal fabricator with a minimum of 2 years' experience in cutting, welding, fitting/ fabricating, and finish work.
We are a mid-sized miscellaneous metal company that handles large- and small scale-projects composed of structural, architectural, and ornamental metals. We are always trying to improve and have several CNC machines to assist with plate processing, tube/ pipe bending and coping. As well as manual equipment for cutting, bending, rolling, etc.

As an Experienced Fabricator you will be responsible for,
- understanding drawings. weld symbols, quantities, dimensions, materials
- carrying out standard fabrication processes
- experience with fabrication tools. angle grinder, bandsaws, oxy torches, mag drills, etc.
- punctuality with a positive attitude
- driving forklifts
- assisting with maintaining a clean and safe shop

Please be prepared to perform a weld and fitment test with your interview. Tools will be provided for the test but bring your own welding hood, gloves and other PPE.
Hours of operation:
- Monday-Thursday 4:30am - 2:00pm
- Friday 5:30am-12:00pm
- Saturdays (as needed)
- Sundays (closed)
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
