What are the responsibilities and job description for the Band Saw Operator position at Diversified Metal Fabrication?
We are looking for an Entry level or experienced band saw operator. Our shop uses 2 band saws to cut and miter the majority of the material we need to fabricate on a daily basis. We offer a lot of room for growth at DMF, and this is a great place to get started.
Everyone here takes pride in their work, and we are looking for someone who shares the same values to be a productive and effective member of our team.
Band saw operator responsibilities include,
- understand basic blueprint drawings and cut lists
- read a tape measure accurately
- take daily care of the bandsaw
- load and unload material from guide rollers using a forklift
- label parts accurately
- stay organized and keep workplace clean and safe

Hours of operation:
- Monday-Thursday 4:30am - 2:00pm
- Friday 5:30am-12:00pm
- Saturdays (as needed)
- Sundays (closed)
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
