Headquartered in Birmingham, AL, our field operations are located throughout the Appalachian Basin in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. In 2021, Diversified announced our expansion into our Central Regional Focus Area, which includes producing areas within Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
Responsibilities:POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Production Assistant will report to the Business Manager. Primary focus will be to support the operations management group.
Special focus to be placed on:
- General Office Greet visitors, receive incoming mail, and schedule outgoing
- Maintain office supply inventories
- Assist with vendor setup and credit application submittals
- Support IT remotely by troubleshooting technical issues for field office/personnel Accounting
- Ensure invoices are coding correctly and routed to the appropriate approver
- Work with the accounting department and contractors on billing questions and issues
- Provide P/L reports as needed
- Pull LOE statements and drilldown to detailed expenses
- Write AFEs for upstream projects. Payroll Review timecards throughout pay period for exceptions and/or recording issues. Work closely with the field to fix exceptions and ensure timecards are approved by deadline.
- Provide payroll reports as needed.
- Data Tracking Support operations team in data management and validation.
- Update/maintain daily and weekly tracking reports Well Reviews
- Provide Aries data plots to assist with reviews
- Attend and record data obtained from well reviews.
- Create an action item list and prioritize potential projects.
- Implement and track prioritized projects.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates degree or higher level of education
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the gas/oil industry.
- Extensive computer skills (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and interpret data, and to problem solve.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods working at a desk in front of a computer.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
