A Financial Planning Assistant provides administrative and operational support to financial advisors, helping them prepare for client meetings and manage client accounts. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client service: Respond to client inquiries, resolve issues, develop and maintain exceptional relationships with clients
- Client support: Act as a key point of contact for clients, answering questions, resolving service requests, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Meeting preparation: Prepare and process paperwork for client meetings, including new account forms, investment reports, and other necessary documents.
- Data entry and analysis: Gather and input confidential client data into the client relationship management (CRM) system.
- Workflow management: Assist with the firm's financial planning workflow, tracking and following up on pending business and client requests to ensure timely completion.
- Operational support: Help with opening/closing of accounts, account transfers and client requests, assist in the day-to-day operations of client account needs
- Compliance: Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring that client information is handled responsibly and confidentially. Help process monthly compliance requirements for the firm.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: A bachelor's or associate's degree in finance or related area; or equivalent experience
- Experience: Previous experience in the financial services, insurance, or investment industry is highly desirable.
- Technical skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with CRM is preferred.
