POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The GIS Coordinator role is within our GIS and Mapping Team. This position will process 811/One Call Tickets according to DEC One Call procedures and provide One Call ticket management services to field line locators throughout operations.

POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The GIS Coordinator role is within our GIS and Mapping Team. This position will process 811/One Call Tickets according to DEC One Call procedures and provide One Call ticket management services to field line locators throughout operations.
Special focus will be placed on:
- Process One Call Tickets utilizing various tools, including ArcGIS, Google Earth (KMZ files, and various other maps).
- Coordinate one-calls, line locates, and schedule onsite excavation oversight / inspection for third party (line crossings).
- Manage inquiring phone calls related to excavation and construction and coordinate corrective actions.
- Coordinate the data refresh of mapping applications (line removal, validation of new data, and recapture of existing
- Collaborate with internal teams to update data to display all field equipment spatial locations and related attributes.
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of state one-call agency programs regulations desired.
- Working knowledge of One Call ticketing system desired.
- A basic understanding of oil and gas operations. Working knowledge of natural gas pipelines and related equipment desired.
- Working knowledge of GIS mapping, data gathering for mapping, and data validation for mapping desired.
- Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions that would prohibit travel to a daily office reporting location or occasional driving of a company vehicle.
- Must be available for 24/7 on call as needed/scheduled.
- Prolonged periods working at a desk in front of a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
