Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Engagement: Actively listen to internal stakeholders to understand their goals, objectives, and opportunities to develop effective solutions.
- Requirements Gathering: Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Independent Work: Operate autonomously and manage tasks independently.
- Task Management: Balance multiple requests through discovery and delivery phases.
- Best Practices: Advise stakeholders on robust and resilient data usage design patterns.
- Research: Conduct self-directed research to understand business processes and data interactions.
- ETL Management: Handle ETL requests to load data into the Snowflake repository.
- Data Modeling: Create models to optimize data accessibility and utility.
- Quality Assurance: Serve as the first line of quality assurance to validate data flows and reports.
- Problem Solving: Meet deadlines, propose solutions, and set clear expectations.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Data Understanding: Experience with data models and relationships in SQL.
- Communication: Ability to bridge communication between business end users and the development team.
- Database Experience: Minimum of 2 years in database technology.
- Data Warehousing: Experience in data warehouse design and usage.
- Power BI: At least 2 years of experience with MS Power BI Development, including DAX or similar tools.
- ETL Migration: Experience with data ETL migration using tools like Talend, SSIS, Informatica, or similar.
- Master Data Management: Proficiency in Master Data Management.
- Quality Assurance: Attention to detail and test evidence documentation.
- Skills: Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Cloud: Familiarity with cloud-based environments.
- Application Systems: Enertia, Flow-Cal, Oracle EPM/Hyperion PBCS.
- ML/AI
- Low-Code Tools: Experience with Power Automate, Logic apps.
