Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Handle custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standard
- Safely handle chemical agents for cleaning purposes following safety protocols and material safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines
- Follow safe lifting practices during heavy lifting activities to prevent injury and ensure efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, buffing, and maintenance procedures
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely and responsibly in accordance with safety regulations
- Experience with manual handling and heavy lifting using proper techniques to avoid injury
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or painting is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high energy levels and motivation
