Diversified Brokerage Specialists (DBS) is looking for a motivated, high energy individual to work alongside our sales team and case managers as Quoting Specialist.
This is not a remote position.
Office hours are M-F 8:30-5 in a comfortable, business casual setting.
Responsibilities
· Work directly with brokers and carrier companies running life, LTC and annuity quotes.
· Stay up to date on industry changes such as underwriting requirements and online application protocols.
· Processing agent licensing and carrier contracting. SuranceBay knowledge a plus.
· Be proactive in communications.
· Answer phones, emails and greet guests in a courteous and professional manner.
· Provide support in the office as needed.
· Ensure file organization based on office protocol and maintain a neat workstation.
Qualifications
· Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills, both oral and written.
· Ability to multitask, problem solve and keep composure in a fast-paced work environment.
· Excellent time management, teamwork, and organizational skills.
· PC proficiency and Microsoft Office experience.
· Insurance or financial industry knowledge is favorable but not required.
