Project Manager – New Product Development (NPD)

Diversified Botanics
Draper, UT Full Time
POSTED ON 1/8/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 2/6/2026
Diversified Botanics operates at the intersection of wellness and operational rigor. We build products and processes that hold up under scrutiny—not just speed. Our teams move with urgency, but never without evidence, accountability, and respect for the work. This is a place for people who take pride in precision, understand the cost of shortcuts, and show up ready to contribute to a team that runs tight by design.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage NPD projects from concept through design, testing, and launch
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, and schedules
  • Coordinate activities across R&D, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and other functions
  • Facilitate decisions that prevent serial handoffs and enable parallel execution
  • Identify risks early and drive timely resolution of issues and constraints
  • Provide concise, accurate project status updates to leadership
  • Ensure project deliverables align with approved scope, quality standards, and business objectives

You’ll Thrive Here If You

  • Think systemically about cross-functional execution
  • Hold teams accountable without relying on hierarchy
  • Translate ambiguity into structured plans and forward motion
  • Believe speed comes from clarity, not shortcuts
  • Prefer disciplined parallel execution over waterfall sequencing

You May Struggle Here If You

  • Avoid hard conversations when timelines are at risk
  • Require perfect information before moving forward
  • Confuse activity with progress
  • Expect alignment to happen without structure

What You Bring

  • Proven experience leading complex new product development projects
  • Strong command of project planning, risk management, and execution discipline
  • Ability to influence across functions and drive decisions
  • Clear, direct written and verbal communication
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools and lifecycle frameworks

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional NPD projects from initiation through launch
  • Track record of delivering projects on time and within defined scope
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
  • Experience applying LEAN principles to improve project flow, efficiency, and execution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in regulated, technical, or quality-driven product environments
  • Familiarity with stage-gate, agile-hybrid, or continuous improvement models

What We Offer

  • Real ownership of outcomes, not administrative coordination
  • Projects with direct impact on the business
  • An operating environment that values rigor, clarity, and follow-through
