We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning Assistant to support our team in delivering exceptional service to clients. This role combines administrative and client support responsibilities with light marketing and social media management, making it ideal for someone who is organized, tech-savvy, and eager to learn the financial planning profession.
Key Responsibilities
Client Support & Administrative Duties
- Assist financial advisors with client onboarding, account maintenance, and documentation.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain client files, financial reports, and meeting materials.
- Schedule client meetings and manage follow-up tasks.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements when processing paperwork.
Financial Planning Support
- Update client data in CRM and financial planning software.
- Maintain monthly contribution and withdrawal reports
- Assist in drafting and reviewing client communications, reports, and presentations.
- Monitor client deadlines and ensure proactive follow-ups.
Marketing & Social Media Management
- Maintain and update the advisor’s social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.). Ensuring approved by advisor and compliance.
- Create and schedule posts highlighting financial tips, advisor updates, community involvement, and educational content.
- Assist with email newsletters, blog posts, and other marketing initiatives.
- Track engagement metrics and provide reports to improve outreach efforts.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Prior experience in financial services, office administration, or marketing is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn financial planning software.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Hootsuite) a plus.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
