Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive, strategic, relationship-focused individual to help drive growth, expand our market presence, and strengthen client relationships. This role plays a key part in identifying new opportunities, supporting revenue expansion, and representing our brand with professionalism and integrity.
The ideal candidate can identify and pursue new opportunities, strengthen existing relationships, thrives in a dynamic environment, and brings strong analytical and communication skills to the table.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prioritize, and develop new business opportunities across target markets.
- Conduct market research to evaluate trends, competitive landscapes, customer needs, and potential areas of expansion.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Assist leadership with outreach strategies, partnership development, and promotional initiatives.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and supporting materials as needed.
- Track business development metrics and provide regular reporting to management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership teams to support strategic initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and customer meetings.
- Support the creation and execution of marketing campaigns and targeted outreach.
- Ensure all external-facing materials and communications align with company branding and goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field—or equivalent experience.
7 – 10 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or related customer-facing roles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term relationships.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Experience within the asphalt paving industry is a plus.
