CNC Machinist – Mazak/Mazatrol Programmer
Location: Southern Indiana / Louisville Metro Area

Diverse Brands is a growing manufacturing company seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong Mazak/Mazatrol programming and setup experience. We are looking for a hands-on machinist who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is not a large corporate shop. Our team members wear multiple hats, have a direct impact on production, and play a key role in helping us continue our growth.
What You'll Do
* Program, edit, optimize, set up, and operate Mazak CNC machines utilizing Mazatrol
controls.
* Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings.
* Select tooling, workholding, and machining methods for production and prototype
work.
* Perform machine setups, tool offsets, and first-piece inspections.
* Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
* Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues.
* Perform routine machine maintenance and equipment care.
* Support quoting, prototyping, and process improvement initiatives.
* Work closely with management to improve efficiency and production performance.
What We're Looking For
Required
* Demonstrated Mazak CNC and Mazatrol programming experience.
* Ability to independently set up and run CNC machining centers.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
* Experience using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers,
indicators, and gauges.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
* Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Preferred
* Multi-axis machining experience.
* Job shop, prototype, or short-run manufacturing experience.
* Knowledge of GD&T.
* CAD/CAM experience.
* Continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience.
