Diverse Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Laser Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Conyers, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with machine operation experience who take pride in producing high-quality work while maintaining safety and efficiency in a production environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating laser cutting equipment, reading blueprints, performing quality inspections, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. If you have strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to precision, we encourage you to apply. Your Day-to-Day Tasks Will Be:
Set up and operate laser cutting equipment to produce sheet metal components according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and production schedules.
Verify dimensions, tolerances, quantities, and product specifications before and during production runs.
Perform first-piece inspections and conduct ongoing quality checks throughout production.
Measure completed parts using precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
Troubleshoot equipment, production, and quality issues and communicate concerns to supervisors as needed.
Perform routine preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and keep equipment operating effectively.
Maintain production goals while ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
Assist in other production areas as needed to support operational requirements.
