This is a full-time, on-site role for a Trim and Rough professional, based in Lillington, NC. The role entails installing, repairing, and maintaining wiring systems and related security infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include running cables, installing trim components, testing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all systems are functioning according to codes and company standards. The role also involves collaborating with the team and communicating effectively to meet project timelines and specifications.
- Proficiency in structured wiring, low-voltage cabling, and basic electrical concepts
- Experience working with security systems, including the installation and maintenance of cameras, alarms, and access controls
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively for installation and maintenance work
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and addressing system issues
- Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of local, state, and national safety and wiring regulations
- Relevant work experience in structured wiring or security system installations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in electrical or security systems are a plus
