What are the responsibilities and job description for the J1 Host/Hostess position at Diverse Concepts, LLC?

Primary Responsibilities:
· Greet guests in a friendly and inviting manner
· Engage in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion
· Advise guests of current specials, new menu items and promotions
· Manage restaurant waiting list during high volume times to accurately set guest expectations
· Always sincerely thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
· Assist other Team Members as needed or when business needs dictate
· Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Requirements:
· Must be at least 16 years of age
· Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
· Ability to bend, twist and stand to perform normal job functions
· Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
