Sunlite Plastics, a division of Diversatek, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a 3rd shift Production Supervisor in our Medical Tubing Division in Wisconsin. We are a plastics extrusion company that provides custom tubing to medical markets.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing operations by maintaining efficiency, productivity and quality standards for an assigned area. The Production Supervisor provides direction, leadership, development and support to direct reports.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Directs all production activities for an assigned area
• Schedules daily production activities
• Maintains efficiency, productivity and quality standards.
• Performs personnel training (on the job, quality documentation, safety rules, etc.)
• Performs production in-process and final inspections
• Initiates non-conformance reports for any quality system deficiencies.
• Conducts personnel reviews and provides direction, leadership and support
• Ensures all safety regulations are followed

 Requirements

• A Technical, Associate or Bachelor’s degree (recommended) or equivalent Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to lead, motivate and mentor teams of hourly associates
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical/critical thinking
• Strong accountability, consistency and follow-through skills
• Ability to work effectively with a wide array of plant personnel
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced production environment, often under time constraints
