Production Supervisor – 2nd shift

Sunlite Plastics, a division of Diversatek, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a 2nd shift Production Supervisor in our Medical Tubing Division in Wisconsin. We are a plastics extrusion company that provides custom tubing to medical markets.
The Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing operations by maintaining efficiency, productivity and quality standards for an assigned area. The Production Supervisor provides direction, leadership, development and support to direct reports.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Directs all production activities for an assigned area
- Schedules daily production activities
- Maintains efficiency, productivity and quality standards.
- Performs personnel training (on the job, quality documentation, safety rules, etc.)
- Performs production in-process and final inspections
- Initiates non-conformance reports for any quality system deficiencies.
- Conducts personnel reviews and provides direction, leadership and support
- Ensures all safety regulations are followed
Requirements
- A Technical, Associate or Bachelor’s degree (recommended) or equivalent Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lead, motivate and mentor teams of hourly associates
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Strong analytical/critical thinking
- Strong accountability, consistency and follow-through skills
- Ability to work effectively with a wide array of plant personnel
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced production environment, often under time constraints
