Diversatek has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Intern within our medical device division, Diversatek Healthcare. This internship is an 8-week paid opportunity spending time at our office location in Milwaukee, WI. As a Sales Intern, your primary focus will be lead generation and working closely with the entire sales team to drive incremental revenue.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Prospect, generate interest, quickly uncover sales opportunities, leverage existing accounts and relationships while working closely with both Inside and Field Sales teams to assist in closing new business.
- Communicate with healthcare facilities to qualify prospects, identify leads and partner with Sales Team to close business both existing and new.
- Make an impact and expand your knowledge in the sales process and techniques, to work directly with hospitals, endoscopy centers and ambulatory surgery centers.
- Communicate directly with staff at all levels of gastroenterology, endoscopy and OR departments
- Use our existing database to develop and maintain records of existing and potential new customers.
- Complete on-going product training to build a solid knowledge base for the GI space as well as prepare you for possible future opportunities at Diversatek Healthcare.
- Present to Sr. Sales leadership at the end of Internship. Content to be determined by Sales Leadership.
Qualifications:

- Self-motivated, able to work independently but also an incredible team player.
- Dependable with a strong desire to exceed expectations.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow up, and strong data entry skills.
- Current undergraduate student in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college, preferably with a Sales or Business focus.
- Minimum Cumulative GPA 3.0
- Must be willing to commit to entire 8-week internship, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. (Vacation flexibility to be determined)
- Ability to provide own transportation between home and work office location.
- Proficient in Windows software applications.
- Ability to understand the basics of our technology systems as well as CRM system.
