What You Will Do- Lead estimating for overhead, underground, substation, and transmission projects
- Build unit pricing and maintain an accurate cost database
- Track project performance and support forecasting
- Prepare takeoffs, pricing, scopes, schedules, and proposal packages
- Identify bid opportunities and submit RFP responses
- Work with operations to ensure constructability and accuracy
- Develop processes for standard estimating and repeatability
- Support business development by leveraging industry relationships
- Proven estimating experience in electric utility construction
- Solid understanding of project tracking and cost control
- Ability to work independently and own deliverables
- A network that can help generate opportunities
- Strong Excel, takeoff, and estimating software skills
- Excellent attention to detail and urgency to meet deadlines
