This position plays an important role in maintaining an efficient backroom by receiving shipments, organizing merchandise, preparing inventory for distribution, and ensuring products are stored accurately. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
- Unload, sort, and label merchandise accurately.
- Stock inventory in designated storage areas following company procedures.
- Prepare products for replenishment and internal distribution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe backroom environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock audits.
- Support team members with daily operational tasks as needed.
- Follow workplace safety guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Previous warehouse, stockroom, or retail experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Basic organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
