Our client in 3PL industry is looking for a Vice President of Sales, you will be a key driver of revenue growth and market expansion within our company. Reporting to the SVP of Sales, the Vice President of Sales will develop and execute comprehensive strategies to expand the company's market presence. You will manage complex relationships across multiple stakeholders and ensure the successful execution of partnership driven growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the 3PL industry, a proven track record in sales, and a passion for customer service and growing the client base.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy. Define sales objectives, KPIs and metrics aligned with company goals.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional strategy that delivers year over year revenue and EBITDA targets.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, both current and potential customers, to understand and collaborate on 3PL and Value-Added Service needs.
- Develop and manage the regional budget, ensuring alignment with financial targets and profitability goals.
- Liaise with Operations to ensure delivery timelines are met and partner issues are escalated and resolved in a timely manner.
- Generate sales reports and release recaps for internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement best practices across regional locations, supply chain management, and sales to enhance operational efficiency.
- Contribute innovative thinking and insights to company’s’ portfolio and market expansion opportunities, based on deep understanding of consumer trends, product, pricing and marketing models internally and externally
- Partner with COO to operationalize company’s’ growth strategy, garnering buy-in and holding key stakeholders accountable to the results through quantitative analysis and dashboard reporting of key metrics
- Provide weekly summary reports to executive leadership on performance, key metrics, strategic initiatives, new business, and safety.
- Provide customer and market feedback to influence product roadmap and development.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular updates to the CEO and executive team on sales activities and performance
- 20% travel requirement
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role within 3PL, supply chain business or related industry.
- Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth
- Experience in both strategic planning and hands-on sales execution.
- Deep understanding of supply chain design and logistics processes.
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business objectives.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance, and risk management.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with limited resources.
- Excellent networking skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
