- Lead staff training and development initiatives, including interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing coaching to build a motivated and skilled team.
- Oversee food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety protocols to maintain compliance with health regulations and quality standards.
- Manage inventory control, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction to optimize food costs and minimize shortages.
- Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales reconciliation.
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours while maintaining excellent service levels.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly, resolving complaints effectively, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with culinary experience preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Excellent staff training skills with previous supervising or assistant manager experience in hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control practices, and budgeting principles to ensure operational efficiency.
