Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security person to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining a safe and secure environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, knowledge of security systems, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Prior experience in law enforcement, criminal investigation, military service, or retail security investigation is highly desirable. The Security person will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing issues and ensuring the safety of personnel and property through proactive surveillance and effective communication.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas.
- Monitor premises to identify suspicious behavior or potential threats.
- Investigate incidents
- Write detailed reports documenting observations, incidents, and investigations accurately and promptly.
- Enforce company policies and legal regulations related to A.L.E.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors or employees while maintaining a professional presence.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
- Assist in training new team members on security protocols and systems knowledge as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, retail store security, or related fields such as criminal investigation or loss prevention is preferred.
- Familiarity with criminal law, search and seizure law, interrogation techniques, and report writing standards.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize potential security threats quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for customer service and internal communication purposes.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly with integrity.
- Physical fitness to perform patrol duties effectively; capable of standing for extended periods and conducting searches if necessary.
- Team leadership experience is a plus for supervisory roles within the security team.
