The incumbent of this position serves as the Secretary to the Regional Director and will perform a wide variety of highly responsible secretarial and administrative duties relating to the responsibilities of the Regional Director and the entire subordinate organization.

The candidate possesses analytical skills to compile and analyze various charts, tables, statistical reports and other data of the Regional Office's operations. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate both effectively orally and in writing. Experience utilizing office automation systems is desired.

Typing Proficiency: In addition to meeting the experience requirement, applicants for this position must show possession of the ability to type 40 words per minute with 3 or less errors.

Applicants must have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-08 grade level, which has provided them with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the Secretary (OA) (Reginal Director Secretary) at the GS-09 grade level.

Responsibilities:
As a Secretary (OA) (Regional Director Secretary),GS- 0318-9, your typical work assignments may include:- Making travel arrangements.
- Maintaining the Regional Director's calendar.
- Receiving visitors and placing and receiving telephone calls for the office.
- Reviewing outgoing correspondence for grammatical style and conformance to established office policies, practices, and procedures.
- Compiling and analyzing charts, tables, statistical reports and other data of office operations.
Salary : $64,564
