At Dittmer Ditching a heavy equipment operator duties will include operating heavy equipment to complete a variety of projects according to the plans and Dittmer Ditching's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Dozers, Tractor with Pans, Excavators, and Loaders.
- Building ponds, lakes, building pads, installing water lines, stormwater systems, and sewer lines.
- Observing safety codes and OSHA safety regulations at all times.
- Communicating with coworkers to review project specifications, as needed.
- Ensuring that the equipment is being maintained.
- Providing suggestions to refine workflow and boost efficiency.
Heavy Equipment Operator Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience building pads, installing sewer lines, Storm water systems, and water lines.
- A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines.
- Capacity to provide and follow direction and work independently on sites with little to no other persons
- Sharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressure.
- Has a diverse knowledge of communication technology and equipment technology in the industry
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
